API Drill Pipe Tool Joints
Tool joints of drill pipe are welding neck joint with drill pipe, which is an important part of drill pipe. Tool joints made by Teda Special Pipe Co Ltd adopt high-quality structural steel and special heat treatment with Teda know-how. Thread of tool joints are machined by numerical control lathe to ensure their interchangeability. Surface of screw are copper-plated or phosphated, to achieve good adhension-prevention. Mechanical properties meet or exceed the requirements in API Spec 5DP.

Raw material of Drill Pipe Joints is AISI 4137H. The physical quality has reached high- performance steel standard.
u Heat Treatment |
General mechanic properties of tool joints which are cast and afterwards stove-heat treated, are far beyond that are intermediate frequency heat treated on production lines.
